I have previously done a post on the Eighth Workshop of Parliamentary Scholars and Parliamentarians, held at Wroxton College at the end of July. Several members and officials attended from the Indonesian second chamber: the leader of the delegation gave a fascinating talk on the work of the fledgling chamber.

In a nutshell…
Lords of the Blog began as a test project, encouraging dialogue between web users and Members of the House of Lords.
It's now a permanent fixture, with Members of the Lords writing blogs on their specialist areas or making guest appearances to discuss the work of the House.
Opinions expressed by the authors/bloggers are their own and don't represent those of the House of Lords, its administration or other Members (including parties and other groups of Members).
If you have any comments about the blog, please use our feedback form.
This site is managed by the non-partisan Hansard Society - a political education and research charity - as part of its commitment to Parliamentary democracy.
