The Lords on YouTube

Lord Norton

I have earlier drawn attention to the various publications about the work of the House of Lords.  The House has also produced a number of videos which can be found on YouTube.  You can access them here.  They cover a good range in terms of the activity of the House, how it works, interviews, events, and committee activity.  They should prove of general interest, but also an invaluable source for any student examining the work of the House.

    Lord Norton,
It seems the average number of views is rather modest but some reach into the seventy thousand or so views and I may have missed some of much higher numbers of views. In contrast the video linked here has over 28 million views: . I wonder if that impacts your views about whether having a second chamber is not merely received but deliberate policy in some societies?

May I recommend the following compilation from the HoC, not only for the 2+ hours of smiles, but also for its compelling trawl through recent history, proving little of substance changes in the Chamber (other than Mrs May’s wardrobe, perhaps?).
