So OK – I confess. I thought we were being painted and decorated as well! In fact it’s just that the furniture has all been re arranged back stage. Maybe my punishment is to accept the offer of not having my house painted for a couple of hundred pounds – nice one!

There must be a Trade union for painters and decorators.
Lord Soley, if you could be so kind as to have a search around the backstage and see if LN has been accidently trapped in a tea chest or something I`d be obliged.

Let me see if this one is.

On one thread it does work and on the other it does not.
Gareth that`ll be the spam filter, I`ve been caught a couple of times like that.
Email Andy to get it sorted.
Thanks Carl. I’ll do that, but is he still lordit of the bloglords?
Carl H. People forget that if you have a wash up you have to have a person to dry up – I’ll go and rescue him!

Nothing more than that?
We don’t dry up, we let stuff sit and air dry. Probably an appropriate method for Westminster, given the amount of hot air generated in the past week. Some of it was very directed, a bit like one of Sir Alex Ferguson’s half-time talks.
