As can be seen from the following replies to my Questions , our Government continues to make correct statements and complaints, but Israel goes on acting illegally and provocatively. This is true of East Jerusalem and the occupied West Bank, while severe restrictions still affect Gaza.
In Turkey there is little change is the arbitrary and authoritarian approach of their Government

“Our Government continues to make correct statements and complaints”
Our Government has no longest-term sustain-worthy Purpose
and is one of the bigger Nations (than Israel) living corruptly and itself warmongering destructively, way past the Earth’s and our Own means
so your statement is False, “hubris”;
and warmongeringly so.
———
Likewise that “Israel goes on acting illegally and provocatively” (contrarily)
is False
Israel is defending its own borders and People;
it is as simple as that.
————
Is it too late to construct
(to co-construct)
a sutain-worthy Purpose and ‘Every-One’s Real Lifesupportive Needs Met’ solution ?
Method III would surely be accomplishing such;
but even ‘our Peers’ spurn it;
and although taking longer than the prevailing “Roadmaps to Peace”
(“If it ain’t broke don’t fix it/but suddenly It’s gone too far down the Slippery-Slope, call out the Conflict Management Team/Police/UN/NATO-Strike-Force…”)
Method III would much quicker sort out the huge-tangle of Complications
(that hang around every party’s neck like stinking-albatrosses shot dead by previous Governmentally Forgiven and Forgotten Collateral ‘Containment-Action’)

the quartet link either on this website or the parliament.uk website does not work (Consilium)which is a pity.
There is some evidence that the EU pressure has a good deal more effect on Israeli actions
re occupied territories that any single state government of it.
I cannot see the point re Turkey, of taking up cudgels against such a populous and largely democratic country, which but for its
Muslim preferences would have been a “full” member of the EU years ago, and therefore not condemned in parliamentary releases in the way that the noble lord does obtain.
Live and let live. I hope that Turkey has a fuller role to play in the region than it does already either Eastwards or westwards.
They, like the Greeks, are members of a number of other regional supranational groups
with which they are entirely pleased, one of them including Greece and Turkey as members together.
Israel is not going to do anything to change its policies toward the suffering Palestinian people. Why would they? they have nothing to fear by going ahead with the torture for they are simply a state of that ‘super’ state, America. This countries tax payers fund them, they have put bases there and have stocked it with ‘nuclear weapoons of mass destruction.’ Which they cannot wait to use on Iran, who they claim arethe financial backers of the Palestinian cause.
Further, if you look into the founding of that same USA, isn’t this exactly what they did to the indigenous American Indian? Finally putting them in reservations where they could abuse them in secret. The similarity needs no explanation.
And we all know if they are let away with this, they will spread this conquest throughout the entire Middle East, just as the settlers of North America took the entire states whether those states wanted to unite or not.
Here is a brave Israeli man teling it as he sees it.

Maude, with regard to the Iranians, the issue of nuclear weapons is relevant but why go to all that trouble just to enrich uranium? The military can only launch one or two WMD before bringing down a mutually assured destruction (MAD) upon Iran and its region. It doesn’t make sense.
Perhaps the real reason for enriching uranium is associated with the Iran Iraq war. Both sides were armed with very respectable but similar weapons and capabilities. An analogy has been made with WW1 in that neither side prevailed; only an armistice stopped the terrible loss of lives.
Then came along the US led Iraq war; use of depleted uranium (DU) tipped bombs and bullets made all the difference in defeating a very capable enemy. This tactical advantage did not go unnoticed by the Iranian Military. The strategic question for them was how to respectively obtain DU (by the tonne), a by product of uranium enrichment.
What is of more concern to Israel is that combinations of ‘Oestrogen Mimic’ (plastics) poisoning, we all suffer this to some degree or another and DU aerosolised nano particles exposure is a portent of a demographic population collapse within the region. Israel has stated it has no hostile intentions towards Iran.

@Senex
The planet is primarily centered on functioning as an entitiy and its major move has to be preservation. Like it or not, this is also in our best interests. It is using what man has created to correct the massive population growth and imbalance of eco systems it knows instinctively is in the process of killing it.
Nevertheless, I don’t think the Palestinians, or others, have time to wait for a natural process of annihilation aimed at their enemies. As you already observed, this annihilation will take them and us along with it.

It would be interesting to know how this will be written in the Talmud. Who will the saviour Moses be this time?
Maude, the Koenig Memorandum was leaked to an Israeli newspaper in 1976 and became an embarrassment to the government of the day. Today, its outline still influences government policy toward the Palestinians.
In her book, “The Fate of the Jews: A People Torn between Israeli Power and Jewish Ethics”, Roberta Strauss Feuerlicht summarized the memorandum:
“To preclude any possibility of an (independent, Arab) political union, Koenig recommended building more Jewish settlements in areas that are predominantly Arab.” Wiki.
If you search on both Israeli and Palestinian population demographics you will see Israeli population is increasing in a straight line that demands either better land utilisation or more carpet bagging of the disputed territories.
If one accepts that the underlying reason for Iranian uranium enrichment is to produce high quality/density depleted uranium then by association one could argue that the defunct Iraqi Republics enrichment programme was for the same reason. It failed because it lacked scale. When the Iranians say they are not developing a nuclear WMD the spectre of Saddam Hussein looms large.
A conventional war in the area where DU based munitions are used by all sides is going to be very bloody, very costly and quite futile; if the Iranians were to win what would they do with 5.5 million Jews. Walter Edward Guinness, 1st Baron Moyne was assassinated on November 6, 1944 for allegedly asking the same type of question.
Make love not war will have to take on a whole new meaning.
