Resettlement of Afghan Interpreters

Lord Hylton

I asked HMG whether they will accelerate the conclusion of requests for resettlement by Afghan interpreters and other personnel employed by the UK, either by offering refugee states in the UK, or by assisted resettlement in other countries.

Lord Astor of Hever gave me the following reply :” The ex-gratia redundancy scheme includes an offer of relocation to the UK for locally employed  Afghan staff who meet the relevant eligibility criteria.  Staff are relocated through a bespoke immigration arrangement, not connected to the UK refugee system. This system ensures that identity, health and security conce5ns are addressed without unreasonable delays.  There are no plans to offer Afghan staff refugee status, which would not be appropriate to their circumstances.”

This matter has not been treated with the urgency it deserves.  British reputation is suffering as a result.

    As with the above inhuman
[and lack-of-trust-for-Almighty God to ‘defend’ Himself ?]
    Blasphemy complexitude,
this Afghan ‘tangled-knot’ needs details of definitions, scrutinies, and current-state-of-‘progress’,
    doesn’t it ?

These government officials, all of them, who first of all went to war in this God forsaken hole and now want to bring the enemy to come back with them, under the guise of, they translated for us is utter bull. Any number of people could have been taken with them and therefore no need for the local people at all. To do so this crazy man thinking. Let them go and live in the USA they have the bloody room for them there. In fact, they could take an entire state for their tortured groups and any others they use in war games, so that they can set up home for them. Let the US citizens pay for it, it is their government who gets into these endless war factions, so let them pay for it. They love it.

How many more heads off do you want on our streets? Just to think of this practice is an insult to Lee Rigby.
