Lord Norton (not) pinning this down:

I am contemplating offering a prize – possibly tea at the Lords – for quiz winners. I think I should offer it to anyone who wins three or more of the weekly quizzes. So starting next week…

The killer is "...three or more...". I'm sitting back and watching Stephen, Croft, Liam, et al elongating the sporting season.

Meanwhile, how about maiden speeches from contributors? Win-win for obvious reasons.

A random choice of people that email in to a dedicated email address would probably be easiest and fairest? It would also allow anyone that needs to remain anonymous in their webcomments to remain so.

To add a bit of fun, you could always run the quiz via Twitter!

We have talked about inviting some of you to Parliament. How do we select who is to come? There won't be space for everyone and I presume it will be easier for people in the south east. Any suggestions?

The drinks wern't on you j - they were generously provided by a very supportive staff member. If however you are offering ....!!

Over-lapping slightly with another post, but Lord S it would be a good idea to invite readers of LOTB in to an event in Parliament rather than raising a glass to them from the hallowed interior.

It sounds like this is being considered now - it would make much more sense in engaging with those outside of the Palace rather than continuing to clink glasses with those inside.
